Graiguenamanagh Regatta

The Annual Graiguenamanagh River Regatta has been run since 1886 to date. Reputed to be the oldest Regatta on Ireland’s inland waterways which attracts more water sports lovers to participate in races plus more people come to admire the skill, fun, plus support all taking part. 

The regatta includes over 20 events from an Iron Man contest to cot (fishing boat) races, swimming and diving competitions.

This years Regatta is on the 4th of August 2019.

The local rowing club also hosts a rowing regatta on the August Bank Holiday Monday, as well as recreational regatta’s throughout the year.
